Meet the Principal

STACEY SHORTGEN

Mrs. Schortgen was a member of the Western Kentucky University (WKU) swim and dive team for four years. After graduating WKU for undergraduate she attended Indiana Wesleyan University for graduate school.

"I love watching the lightbulb moments and challenging students and staff to be the best they can be. I love helping staff and students however I can."

You may see Mrs. Schortgen in her office working but most likely she is power walking down the hallway, subbing in a classroom and generally pitching in wherever she is needed. The staff at Holland respect her for her servant leadership and humility in creating a dynamic school culture.
